Karen Anderson   LMFT

Your Life is unique, and you deserve a space where you can explore, understand, and heal at your own pace. In our sessions, you will find a confidential and safe environment tailored to your needs. As an experienced therapist, I'm here to guide you through navigating complex family dynamics, understanding your personal story, and helping you explore the roots of your challenges.

Our collaboration will empower you to recognize the changes you wish to make and understand the boundaries you aspire to establish, equipping you with the tools and insights for a journey of self-healing and transformation.

As a marriage and family therapist, my training is grounded in a systems perspective, which is focused on the interaction of relationships and the impacting contributing factors. Elements like sex, gender, culture, religion, spirituality, and other contextual factors inform how you see and experience life. This perspective allows me to delve into the intricate dance of relationships, understanding the cycles of interaction among individuals, and how past distressing events may have influenced these dynamics. Together we'll explore the various elements in one's life that can shape these interactions. Our initial sessions are devoted to identifying and setting specific goals tailored to your unique concerns.

  • Expertise in couples' communication enhancement, ensuring both parties feel heard and understood.

  • Specialized in post-affair and trust betrayal interventions, guiding couples toward healing and reconciliation.

  • Proficient in examining and revising "marriage contracts" to align with evolving individual and collective needs.

...Karen Anderson was the best thing to happen to my family since my kids were born...my marriage was saved and my wife and I found love again. I recommend anyone with family issues. You will receive great information and be more knowledgeable in your relationship" A.C

Morgan James, NY

C... and I have been clients of Karen for the past four years and have been so happy with the results that we have recommended her many times to other couples. Karen has taught us to speak a common language so that we can actually communicate without stress and drama. I firmly believe that if we had not received couples therapy from Karen we would not be a happily married couple today.
I began seeing Karen for my anxiety issues and panic attacks initially. The therapy was open, casual and she was inviting and non-judgmental. Throughout 6 months we worked through my anxiety with both traditional therapy, hypnosis, and EMDR. By the end of 6 months my anxiety had tremendously improved. I felt so satisfied with Karen and he r work that I began seeing her to work on my relationship. My fiancé an d I saw her to help us with communication. The tools she gave us were extremely helpful and she is an extremely knowledgeable resource. I would recommend Karen Anderson to anyone struggling with anxiety or any type of emotional  problem as well as for anyone seeking relationship counseling. Karen is truly a phenomenal person and my life has not been the same since working with her!
